It seems that every other day Big Chief Studios has another new announcement, and must be feeling very bouyant at the moment. With the interest in stylised vinyl collectibles continues to grow, Big Chief have let slip some details on a planned range of 9″ Doctor Who figures. These are posed representations of characters from the series, although only David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor has been revealed so far.
These are very reminiscent of the Buffy and Star Wars animated maquettes of recent times, and offer a different take on these familiar characters. These new Dynamix figures are still pending licensor approval, and no further information on release dates or pricing has been released as yet.
